Developing concept of Virtual class room with multiplayer
Note: This is a VR-based experiment; in the simulation, you can learn from scratch how to download the APK and use VR, while the Procedure section explains the actual lab experiment steps as performed in the Virtual Reality (VR) Lab.
Actual vs Virtual Reality Lab Procedure
1. Session Start :
Actual (Traditional Quiz)
The instructor distributes physical test papers or directs students to log into a quiz portal. Students are instructed to begin.
Virtual Reality (VR) Lab Procedure
Users load the Virtual Smart Classroom (0:11). The virtual screen displays the “Welcome to the Quiz” interface. Users click Start using the VR controller raycast (0:19).
2. Question Delivery :
Actual (Traditional Quiz)
Students read the question and options on paper or a computer screen.
Virtual Reality (VR) Lab Procedure
The first question appears clearly on the virtual screen or monitor (0:20).
3. Input & Submission :
Actual (Traditional Quiz)
Students mark their choice on paper or click a radio button on the screen and click submit.
Virtual Reality (VR) Lab Procedure
The user points the controller raycast at their chosen virtual option (e.g., DELHI or GOA) and clicks the trigger to select (0:20–0:21).
4. Feedback & Progression :
Actual (Traditional Quiz)
Students wait for the instructor to collect all papers and grade them, or the system waits for all submissions before proceeding.
Virtual Reality (VR) Lab Procedure
The screen instantly displays feedback (“Your answer is correct” or “Your answer is wrong”) and prompts the user to click Next to continue to the next question (0:21–0:28).
5. Data Tracking (Multiplayer) :
Actual (Traditional Quiz)
Scores are tallied manually or through the network. Multiplayer interaction is limited or basic (e.g., a leaderboard).
Virtual Reality (VR) Lab Procedure
While not fully shown, the platform supports multiplayer (as stated in the prompt), allowing real-time score comparison and synchronized progression, enhancing the classroom feel.
6. Conceptual Assessment :
Actual (Traditional Quiz)
Questions are limited to text or static images (e.g., “Basics of Computer Memory: ROM/RAM”) (0:24).
Virtual Reality (VR) Lab Procedure
The VR environment can replace text with 3D interactive models or simulations for assessment (e.g., asking the user to visually identify a router instead of selecting a word).
